The religious observance which is pure and spotless in the eyes of God our Father is this, to take care of the fatherless and widows (Ja. 1:27)

 Michel Silva Andrade (pionneer pastor)
In Senegal, our network of churches and others saved the life of one of our pastor’s/church-planter’s son by solidarity. We just came back from Senegal. We were really touched by the needs of the children and church members inland. For a church that really takes care of the poor.

The life of this child (Olivier), the son of a pastor/church-planter ( François Kama) was saved thanks to the support of some who gave and prayed.
 ----
François just called to tell us that their well is totally destroyed due to the floods in West Africa  in general and Senegal in particular (09/28/09). It is necessary to rebuild.
----
I ask you to excel also in this expression of your love (2Cor. 8:7)

EVANGELISTIC COMPASSION & RELIEF

And the poor have the Gospel preached to them (Mt. 11:5)
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor (Lk. 4:18)

Let us manifest the social aspect of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Somebody said: Salvation is three "Ss":
SALVATION-SOUP-SOAP

FOR A CHURCH THAT REALLY TAKES CARES OFTHE POOR
God blesses those who are kind to the poor. He helps them out of their troubles (Ps. 41:1)
